Information Collection and Use While Pinwalls does not require you to create an account or provide Personally Identifiable Information (like your name or email), the app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for analytics and advertising purposes.

  3. App Permissions and Why We Need Them To function properly, Pinwalls requests specific device permissions. These are strictly used for local app functionality:

Set Wallpaper / Storage Access: Required to download HD backgrounds to your device and automatically apply them to your home or lock screen.

Internet / Network Access: Required to fetch our curated library of wallpapers from our secure servers so you can browse and download them.

Run at Startup / Wake Lock: Required to ensure the auto-wallpaper changing feature triggers reliably at the intervals you set, even after restarting your phone.

  1. Third-Party Services, Analytics, and Advertising We use third-party services to understand how our app is used and to display advertisements that help keep Pinwalls free. These third-party providers may collect data such as your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the time and date of your use of the service, and your device’s Advertising ID.
